10 bunk for the boys

Lightforce One has been working with our dear friend Mawanda Abel, who runs an orphanage in Uganda that serves over 600 children since 2018. Since the inception of our partnership, we have been able to provide a well and irrigation system to improve agricultural resources, as well as, opened a site for secondary school children to provide access to education. These projects have all been possible with the help of donations from people like you.

Previously Lightforce One raised funds to purchase some bunk beds for girls at the secondary school site. Now we are hoping to raise funds to provide bunk beds for some of the boys at the orphanage, who currently sleep two to a mattress on the floor.

While the environment at the orphanage is always very positive and loving, they still lack the proper funding to support their basic needs – such as having a proper place to sleep. An issue that many of us in the First World are fortunate enough to never have to think about.

Our goal is to raise funds to be able to purchase 10 bunk beds including mattresses, which would be able to provide a place to sleep for 20 boys. Each bunk bed with the mattresses is equivalent to about $140, so we are looking to raise $1,400 for this project.

Your contributions to this project would really mean a lot, without your help none of the work we have previously done would be possible. With so many people struggling in this world, we must all do what we can to help. These children deserve more than the conditions they were brought into. We can change the world one donation at a time and no amount is too big or too small.
